Old King Street Llama Farm

Have you tried Llama Trekking?

The Golden Valley Llamas herd will take you on an escorted llama trek through the highways and byways of South West Herefordshire.

It’s a very hands-on experience – you help call the llamas in from their field and into the farmyard where they are fed, before you are shown how to halter the llamas. Once wearing halters the llamas stand placidly for grooming, and the party is ready to trek.

A leisurely two and a half mile stroll takes in Ewyas Harold and the Common with marvellous views of Garway Hill, the Cat’s Back and the Herefordshire Plain.

A trek can accommodate from 2 to 20 people, and your four-footed companion will become your friend and trust you to lead him on a journey of adventure.

Great for all. We’ve trekked with 8 year olds and octogenarians.

£35 for an adult and £25 per child – this is a once in a lifetime activity and the memories will stay with you forever. Gift vouchers available.

If you would like to get away from it all, our farm has 4 and 5 star Visit Wales accredited self catering holiday cottages for short and long breaks. And for the very romantically minded couple, why not stay in our Shepherd’s Hut?

Take a two night weekend break in the hut with a llama trek and continental breakfast for just £195.
